Beberapa waktu yang lalu, ASUS telah memperkenalkan Padfone, smartphone Android yang dapat digabungkan dengan layar 10 inchi secara terpisah sehingga dapat menjadi sebuah perangkat tablet. Unit layar yang memiliki lebar 10 inchi tersebut dinamakan “Padfone Station” yang berfungsi sebagai media untuk output display dari ASUS Padfone.
Cara menggabungkannya pun cukup mudah, sobat Pusat Teknologi tinggal memasukkan smartphone atau ponsel ASUS Padfone ke dalam kompartemen khusus yang terletak di belakang tablet Padfone. Setelah semua telah terpasang, layar pun akan segera menyala dan Padfone dapat difungsikan layaknya sebuah tablet Android.

Smartphone Padfone ditenagai oleh prosesor dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 berkecepatan hingga 1.5 GHz. ASUS Padfone ini menggunakan sistem operasi terbaru Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
